I know you want to be helpful but... Please do not ask players if they would like their threads locked or ask if their questions has been answered without actually inputting useful information with it. Eg. Do you need flour to make a cake Person 1: No, you can easily make a cake without flour Person 2: Has your question been resolved? No more of that please. Instead consider Eg. How do you make fences? Person 1: Use sticks and planks Person 2: also the planks can be any type, it will give you different wood fences. Has this answered your question? Finally stop tagging mods to lock threads. There is a neat button under every post called "report" Click it and a box will appear for you to type the reason. Just say "lock thread" and a mod will lock the thread. Thanks
Well I guess this behavior is exacerbated by the countless mod applications where people suggest the OP to "be more active". Those people just want to earn respect. I guess. Suppress the public mod applications (make them private) and you'll get rid of it.
You all are welcome. You don't get noticed just because you try and get a thread locked. You are more noticed for actually contributing to a thread with information that will help.
Sorry I should say this too. The report button is not just negative thing. You can use it to communicate to mods and bring posts to our attention
I did this and got banned for it. I was trying to communicate with the mods to see why they rejected my report as they didn't say who did it. RIP If we can use it to communicate with mods, why punish for it?
This isn't really an issue tbh. Krissy, as an experienced moderator, is stating something that's annoying the staff team.
There is a difference between reporting to let us know and reporting posts several times questioning it. If you want answers as to why a report is rejected you message a mod not re-report it.
