First I'd like to compliment Trola for finding this. It's genious! I haven't seen this before. If it's not his idea nevermind, credits to him. But however in my eyes it's unfair competition. Donors have enough advantages they can use to have their shops stand out IMHO, now they can use their pets to advertise their shops in common warps. Mods say this is legal, so I'm starting this experiment: how long will something "annoying" keep being legal if everyone does it? I already have before my eyes a /warp grass overcrowded with advertisement pets.... yummy! So if you have a pet, name-tag it with you shop and ask him to stay (right mouse click on him if I recall it right) in /warp trade (or why not /warp animal or /warp mob). You must stay there too, somewhere in the direction you want the pet mob to look at. Wait for the people to see it and it's "name" and warp to your shop. I deem it to be hella efficient. You can also create alts and give them the name of your shop. Move with your alt to strategic positions and stay there. Have fun!
It is legal because pets are allowed in public warps and the pet is not advertising other servers. If people want to afk all night at a warp it is their business. If this becomes a trend and it lags public areas we will act upon it however for now it is fine. Annoying, but not illegal.
