Alot of people get banned for good when they never mean any harm, and allot of people don't like how 1 minor or big mistake can take everything away even if they never knew that that was even a rule. Well i have a great suggestion to fix this, Ok so i think that a moderator chat room would be great so that when somebody breaks a rule they are temporary banned, and in the chat room moderators can discuss and come to an agreement on what should happen to a player based both on their decision and the players appeal, also players can finally have a good say i whether they should be banned or put back on with a warning so when the poll and voting and the moderators have decided the player will get his/her punishment or a warning also moderators can talk about upcoming events if they feel like but i believe that a chat room like this can keep moderators in touch easier and less hectic, like cypriotmerks said in one of his posts that there was 4k ban appeals and only 2k got back on <-- Thats 2 large numbers i think we need to prevent a large number by having this chat room so that people who truly didn't mean it can be put back in rather than the smaller chance of posting an appeal that the banning moderator might not see, please help us get that number to stop before too many people are gone off the server leaving only a few people, because right now the server stands at a normal 100 players usually but the server used to always be full :(. please post what you think in the comments below, I really hope you guys like it or not thanks and happy skyblocking :)

Ban messages are blunt and straight to the point. If they want to find out why they're banned, they can visit the forum.

Also, I suggest using spacing and grammar when posting, it makes it easier to read.

This chat room is mainly to keep moderators in touch and can all agree on what happens instead of one moderator doing what he thinks is right but in the end it turned out not so good.

Mods do have ways to stay in touch, including helpop as Lopk said, and MULTIPLE other group things.
Overall it is the banning moderators decision what happens to who they banned, unless someone higher than themselves overturns that decision.
Today the server was over 400. .NET at least.
Also, you are incorrect about Cyp saying that only 2k of the 4k people banned have returned to the server.
You obviously just looked at the number Here without actually reading what they are.
We have had over 4k BAN APPEALS.
We have had over 2k REPORTS that ended in bans.
    At least know your facts.
Overall, as mods we do communicate with each other already, just not in the public eye.

Let me explain why this is a bad idea.

First off- the moderator that banned you has their right. You broke a rule- when you join the server, you're supposed to read the rules- in which you broke, meaning you are now banned until you appeal. If you lie in your appeal, the time of being banned will just be longer. You have to confess, practically. You have to have either the best argument of your time on SkyBlock or just confess to what you have done.

It's not the other moderators duty to worry about what you did, the banning moderator has every right to make the call of banning you or not. It's why they were promoted. The only judgement you have in this case is your appeal, the banning moderator has the right to accept or dent your appeal. Where you stated, 4 thousand appeals, half of those have been denied because of lies, alternate accounts, evades, and other schemes of trying to be unbanned that obviously fail. If the moderator finds your argument valid, they will have you unbanned/unban you. It is all perspective- Let me explain...

You done, lets say illegal trade (most common), you were giving your buddy a water bucket because they lost theirs. You do it in a chest trade @ /warp skybase and a mod logs the chest... You got banned for illegal trading. Why? Because it states in the rules that trading any sort of bucket (along with other items) is illegal and is a bannable offense.

The mods have helpop/staff chat to discuss things they feel are important. You are not their main concern, there are other people talking about things that they need to pretain to, bigger offenses (griefs, loots, etc.), they should not have to have any input on your appeal, it is there because you broke a rule.

Staff tends to talk it out in private, like on skype or PM. Or just give their 2 cents in hidden content, to say it shortly.
