    Captain_Saber's mod application

Introduction: Hi I'm Captain_Saber or UnicronLag (current nickname) I am 12 years old and have been playing Skyblock for about 1 year and a bit. I am very talented at reading, drawing, computers, video games, building and my perception is very very good. I am also great at grammar. I have lots of friends on Skyblock and I like to help out while I'm on the server. I am a donor 100. I like dogs, Minecraft, lasagna, my family, freinds and jokes. I am a BIG jokester! I also really love helping people, it's really what I love and do.

    Captain_Saber

(Also don't even have to add this but I find it very fun to get alerts and whenever I see one I always scram to see what it is!)

    Stats about me
    In-game name: Captain_Saber

    Age: I'm currently 12

Timezone: I live in Toronto, Ontario EST

    I speak: English and French.

Have I been banned: No I have never been banned on any server.

How long am I active: Normally I'm on 1 hour a day. This can be disrupted (didn't know any other word for it) when I go some where besides home.

Do I have any experience as a mod: I have been on a local server which has been shutdown :(

Why should I be a mod: I'd like to be a mod to help people/players on Skyblock. Seeing people being scammed in chat makes me feel really bad because I can't do anything about it. I definitely like helping around on other people's island. Being a mod isn't about the fame or glory it's really about helping people and that's what I'm aiming for as a mod. I've learned this from other mods. After as long as I've been on Skyblock I found out out where my true determination comes from...experience. I realize that lots of problems have come across my way. Especially the troll or griefs or the scam ones they hurt a lot! I hate the losing my things and I hate seeing others suffer. This may seem weird but if something bad happens to someone in a movie or something that's sad, it sort of feels like I know them and it makes me cry. My parents say it's because I have a big heart and I feel that that's one of the things you need most while being a mod. I am one of the nicest and most encouraging people in my class, out of my friends and in my neighborhood. I think that also helps as being a mod because noone really likes someone who's mean. And most of the mods on Skyblock are great!

Skills: I'm a good writer and I have really good grammar. I'm also very talented at piano and good at building in minecraft PE and PC. I can also read very fast. (It took me 1 day to read 7 books). I actually think it's important because if you can't read what someone is "msging" you then the person might get upset or something.

Cooperative skills: I am very good in groups by: giving good feedback, helping others out when in need, I can participate in group affairs, CAN take feedback without getting mad or sad if the feedback is against my idea and I can adapt to other's ideas if they can't use mine. This is very important for being mod because if you can't cooperate then it's hard to work as a team and if you can't work as a team it's hard to get things accomplished.

Helping around Skyblock: For some reason I like helping higher rank players then me mostly, but I do help starters (I don't like the word "noob") if I come across nice players. Sometimes people ask me for help as in repairing stuff or god things or help about the server and I'm happy to serve.

    Perseverance :
I've had a past experience that someone told me that there was a bad chance that I could become a mod because I didn't even know how to sign up for the forums. One of the things that kept me going was seeing people scammed in chat. Again I could not help so I swore I would become a mod to help players in need. And then someone I looked up to became a mod. I was so happy for her so I decided to make my own application. This is definitely a major skill to being mod because if your helping someone and let's just say it's to much work, and you give up then your not fit for mod. I used to suck at drawing Pokemon. I really did. I loved drawing Pokemon though. So I decided that I'd practice. And so I did. And got really good. I didn't give up and that's what counts.

I am very patient: When someone says they're going to do something and they're doing something else befor that I can wait. If it takes them a long time I'll ask for a reason and if they don't reply with a good one I'll just follow through with it.

Can learn with ease: In class I learn facts, tricks and all that other stuff with ease and if I can't learn it right away, I study them until I get it.

Friendly: I can make friends REALLY easily with just a few words. I look up to Skygods and people who are friendly on chat. Sometimes I find people at skin competitions or I find people on chat and most of them are really nice. Like one time I met a guy named Captain_Sundee. I went to his island to tell him I liked his name. I was with my friend cakeman1234567. It turns out that me,cakeman1234567 and Captain_Sundee were the same in lots of ways and we became friends. Making friends as mod is important not super major but important. If you don't have any friends as mod then well sorry but if you have friends you can work and play together and as I said team work is very valuable.

Honest: I have never and WILL never lie to anyone on Skyblock because lying is wrong. I'm not saying that for you to accept me as a mod but lying is wrong. My mom taught me this lesson many times because when I was a kid, I'd have secret candy stashes in my room but then my brother sold me out and I stopped lying.

I never say inappropriate things: What I mean is that I will never swear on Skyblock I actually don't swear in general but I'd never swear in public. If people swear I normally tell them not to. There have been lots and lots of incidents like this. I tried to get this player to stop saying bad things but he wouldn't listen. I don't think a mod was on then.

I am not perfect: I think everyone knows this but NO ONE is perfect. I may not be known on Skyblock or a "Cool Guy" on Skyblock...I'm actually one of those side line players that no one says hello to you when you type "HEY SKYBLOCK (caps protect)" on chat (some people say hi and bye though)(actualy this rate has been raised since I made my mod application). But lots of people are like that and you know what?.. that's OK! Not everyone's perfect and I accept that.

Mature: I am very mature in ways that other students in my grade are not. I would never say anything bad in chat such as "come to spawn for free s**!" I think people who do that aren't mature. The point is that my mom and dad thought that since I was three years old, I was more mature then anyone my age they've met.

Type very fast: I can type very fast and that help when you're playing Skyblock. The reason I think typing fast is important for the mod job is becasue if someone ask you for something and it's urgent you need to be able to respond fast or type /visit whoever fast.

Serious: At times I can be serious like very serious like in a hard situation or a hard decision. If something bad is happening my humor might go down the drain. But if things are OK then I'll laugh at jokes and such.

Empathetic: I am very empathetic. The reason I think this is an important skill for moderator is because if you can put you're self in someone else's shoe's, you can handle the problem more efficiently. I also won the empathetic award once out of my class of 32 kids.

Responsible: I am very responsible by walking my brother home every day (and take care of him), doing my homework before my parents get home, feed Perry without asking (my guinea-pig) and I also take responsibility for my actions. I won the responsibility award twice in a class of 20 kids and 23 kids.

Am I qualified for moderator: Yes

You should add more detail to this section. It would be a good idea to check out accepted apps to get an idea of what the content should consist of. Many people have spent hours on their mod app, so I suggest you plump up your app a bit.

Hey dere! Your application so far is great, but you are a new member to the skyblock forums. I think you should meet new people and gain the community's trust first.

    Neutral for now :)

    Btw do this ^

Also, please don't use "I'll buy donor" to convince people to support you, as buying donor only effects the admins, who judge you based on everyone elses support.

A thread name change Will make it more professional so look at other mod apps for that. As a well, remove the beginning paragraph and add more to why you should be a mod particularly focusing on what accepted mod apps looked like. No support for now, but good luck

Yes, you can. Click the "edit thread" button on the top right and then click "edit thread title" and change the title.

Nope. Either choose 2 colors. Either choose 1 Color. I suggest making the question BOLD and the answer normal. And add spacing.
