Review 2: Personal note: Happy to see that you've taken advice on board and edited the application accordingly. It would have been good to see some of the newly added information and the structure design from you before my original feedback. But it is of no importance now. As a general application, it looks much better. Advantages: - Having no colour is a very good way to not automatically deem your application as immature and unprofessional.. (my opinion). - Changing the thank you message at the bottom of your application just simplifies that area greatly. As now it doesn't just 'Thank', your friends who you had stated, played a large part in your moderator application. It 'thanks' everyone. - Grammar is much better as the first read, I would have though you were much younger. (Everyone likes using big words) right? Disadvantages: -If you're keen to keep 'MCSG' at the beginning of your opening paragraph, explain what it is because I for one have no clue. - There needs to be more spacing between the sections to stop the application from looking like one huge block of text, with a few headings that have been made bold. - There is no information about you hypothetically being a moderator, I understand in your newly written paragraph that's prior to your list of 'Attributes', there is some said 'bad' situations that you've experienced. However, this doesn't tell me what you think you'll be like as a moderator. There is no information that expresses to me that you'll be a unique moderator. - (In my opinion) The long list of attributes is a downfall any application. Though this is just my opinion, I have read the same list, with a few minion details that are different; on several applications, and quite frankly its boring, doesn't really explain anything and basically unnecessary. The characteristics that everyone names in their list of attributes are ones that people would have already noticed, as if you think about it; people wouldn't give you support if they didn't know you before judging your application. If you think you're, *example* 'not bias' then you don't need to explain it; this will be something that you need show to players. As the common phrase is 'actions speak louder than words'. Right? - As you're still stating that you think you're mature; I'm going to pick up on it again. This aspect of your personality is something that others decide for you. Its much like being humble, confident, respectful. These aspects of personalities that define a person are decided by others. Obviously you can say that you have attained the, however; I believe that is a bias opinion. Moreover; stating that you believe you're mature still gives me the undying impression that you're less mature than you think. Its another one of those situations where you don't need to explain it, you need to show it. Carrying on with the note about attributes. Just take into account that you wouldn't apply for the position of moderator, if you didn't think you had what it takes. Just the general motivation for making the application will show you're both confident and willing to help. That's two attributes that can be removed already. - I would also like to pick up on, 'I've learnt through my years of experience' , this statement is very matter of opinion; but being the same age as you, I wouldn't use this as a positive when writing an application. Although we both have probably experienced more than the younger generation, we are still very young and cannot yet, attain in trying to use our 'experience' as an advantage. (As stated, matter of opinion). Suggestions: - There are a few grammar errors that I picked up on that can be ironed out, but overall that aspect of the application is much better compared to the thread prior to this. - Add the 'extra' detail to your application that I have gone into above; I believe that alone with set your application out from the rest. - Make sure you separate the sections as this just makes the reading process easier. This is in regards to 'Introduction', down to 'Why do you think you should be mod?' - Taking into consideration that you've added more information now that is in relation to what a moderator should be, I would like you to try and explain what would set you out from the rest, (again stated above). Judgment: Neutral
I don't know if it matters but MCSGFILMS has helped me and I know has helped others and I think would be a great mod Good Luck MCSG
Quite welcome, sir. Thank you for reading a bit of humor and not going with the full nuclear response. Good luck with your application.
