Spawn Eggs

It would appear that the fact that the spawn eggs offered in /trade have not bee working since before I joined this forum.

I have wondered for some time why they would still today not work yet due to a known error people keep spending money on something that does not work.

A few days ago I saw several post in game chat asking why their spawn eggs do not work.

I from time to time replied with my confusion and the Moderator in server said that it was a known issue that the people could get a refund.

May not be the correct reason, but perhaps the reason they do not work is the ever present lagg issue.

Ok here is 64,000 grass question;

Why not just remove the eggs until some time in the future when they are working?

They worked for me a few days ago, so try doing them again.
I suggested to block them off, but that evidently didn't get taken into much consideration

 

I used a ocelot spawn egg the other day and it worked just fine.

I do recommend buying a cheap spawn egg to make sure they are working first so you don't lose as much grass if they do not work.

But I believe they are working just fine

If they aren't working, feel free to approach a staff or multi-coloured donor in game, and they'd usually be happy to help you spawn some animals in.

 

Thanks actually I do not have to use spawn eggs as I have spawner’s, as well as commands was just thinking of the new people,
who do not yet have rank.

As of today I believe that most of the spawn eggs should be working.

There are a few more answers needed before you close this thread.

You say "believe" have you actually tested them?

You say "most" can your reply be more specific as to which do and which do not?

Was the mod that stated "we will refund users for eggs that do not work" correct?

If the last is correct, how does one file for the refund?

BTW If you like; I can test each of the spawn eggs for the server and provide a complete report. However, since I have no use for spawn eggs, I would like to be reimbursed for any grass during the test.

Spawn Egg are bugged, sometimes they work sometimes no.
If you really need mobs, I can borrow you a spawner, but I will call a Mod

 

Thanks I have spawners and have sky god status ... so my question is not really for me it is so that I may intelligently reply to someone saying "How come my eggs don't work"

I have tested them, they worked fine a few days ago. However, they're buggy now.

Most will reply, but not all skygods will.

We don't have to refund your eggs, but it is a nice gesture.
You can contact a mod in-game or on the forums.

 

I saw cyp getting on to fix the eggs then he said in chat that its fixed.

 

Spawn eggs are working, just tested them in fact. They can be used to spawn mobs and change spawners.
