Island Is Too Small

Right now, the building limit is pretty small and you can't really fit too much into your island. Instead of the size right now, the 49x49x256, can you please make the island's building limit bigger? Thanks for considering it.

 

Actually, the island limit is pretty big--you just have to use your space wisely. And making the limit bigger would probably need a server reset, correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Yeah, I think that you are right, the server might have to restart, everything might get really messed up. Sorry for not considering that.

Yeah, I know, I might just have to make my buildings a little smaller, and as u said above, I forgot to consider the fact that they would have to restart the server.

 

Just saying this now, if you /trust yourself, you'll be able to get the whole 99x99. Islands are big enough. If they made em bigger they'd have to reset the whole map.
Here is a tip, get an alternative account, trust yourself and leave the island unlocked, and you now have 2 islands. Remember to bring your alternative account online every now and then because your island will reset with 6 months of inactivity.
Over all with this thread, as stated in my first statement, if we made island limits larger, we'd have to have a map reset, because islands are already generated to be 99x99. You'd be running over your neighbors island limit if we expanded the island limit without resetting the map.

 

It's not 49x49x256 its 99x99x256

He's saying 49 blocks from each side of the bedrock, which would calculate to 99x99.

 

Yeah, I think that the best way to fix this would just to be build up. As long as you space your builds wisely hieght wise, you should be just fine

 

I agree, there is more than double the space you can build vertically than horizontally

The amount of space is already quite plentiful and you just have to use it right. Also there are way too many islands and increasing size wouldn't benefit everyone

You can always collide islands like my island on org is 4 islands connected to each other.
