    nah if u report someone they deserve to know who did it. Also if you backstab a friend by doing it the person that got reported deserves to know what scumbag did it.

    Yes and no though, even though that's the basis of most western court systems, there's provisions IRL for anonymously giving testimony etc, for various reasons.

    Exactly.
    In a perfect world the server's justice system would work just like a real court, and witnesses who feared revenge or other things could get in a witness protection program.
    However, in this server once something is archived anyone can see anything and may choose to take action against that person for doing the right thing. Especially with the possibility of hurting people IRL through the internet.
    So although I do agree that allowing someone to see who reported them is sometimes a good idea, sometimes it isn't, and this would protect those people.

    Sometimes I see some donors (more popular/well known) donors doing illegal things but I don't want to report them in fear I'll make an enemy or if it goes wrong have to be known as that girl who reports random people for no reason.

    100% vouch. Suckups can now be honest and reports would be much more brutal when they're made anonymously, and more reports, less problems.
