Okay guys! I know that one of the biggest complaints is that Minecraft servers can be too laggy. Well here are tips to get that FPS high!

    Alright here we go!
    • Optifine! Optifine is a mod that boosts your FPS. It is a HUGE help! Definitely worth getting! Also, it doesn't need something like Forge. It runs by itself. You can get videos if you need help getting it.
    • Allocate more memory to Minecraft and Java. If you don't know how to do this, there are plenty of videos on YouTube!
    • Make sure to use fast graphic, low render distance, low performance settings, and turn of other unnecessary things.
    • You can always get more RAM...
    • Make sure you don't have other programs running. It can really slow down Minecraft.
    • Really if you want to you can kill some processes. Explorer.exe isn't needed. Do Ctrl+Shift+Esc. (Windows)
    • Resource packs can really slow it up. Try using the default resource pack. Same with shaders... especially shaders!
    • Turning your sound off helps a little.
    • Turing of chat... but that's annoying.
    • I haven't tried it, but GameBooster.
    • Update all the things associated with Minecraft. (Minecraft... duh, Java, Optifine, etc.)

These are all the things I can think of... there are probably more things. If you can think of any, post them in the comments and I will add them. In singleplayer, feel free to put the settings back and use your resource packs. I get like 100 FPS in Minecraft now!

Thank you for reading! Please comment and say what you think!

A lot of these things will still work. I might talk to my cousin though, he has a Mac.
