okay, I've been accused of griefing. because i picked up some noobs cactus on the ground while running past a trade in a public place. even though the server says "trade at own risk". and now, cyp has come and taken my ENTIRE chest, including my iron and all other items. what do i do? i didnt grief at all, there is no bridge and the person who is accusing me's island is no where near mine (i assume) Please help, i want my stuff back
A player shouted in the chat you looted his island. I did an island search so I confiscated it explain to me how you got all the lava bucket/dirt.
from picking it up from people dying, there is no bridge to his island, i was in nethertrade when he yelled at me. what is wrong with you. you can check these things cant you?
you can atleast see that his island isnt near mine. what is wrong with you. you took ALL of my stuff.
I have also gained dirt, lava and starter items from people dying at spawn, (spawn camping as I have termed it). I have all of these items stored in chests as they are illegal to trade. Am I to understand that even storing extra dirt, lava etc is illegal? Just asking so I know how to handle these kind of items in the future and don't get in trouble.
To put it simply, if you obtained Dirt Blocks in any means away from your own island (doesn't matter how you get it, like noobs dying w/ it), then you should discard it. If I paid a noob to /new island replace for like, 10 stacks of dirt, and i collected his stuff at /warp mob (he dies), is my alibi that i happen to be around when the stuff drops and i should keep it? Nope, i would get banned for being associated with remaking islands. Every player is expected that every dirt/grass block on their island came from legitimate and LEGAL means. Even if there is no evidence of bridging or illegal trading, if you find a (noob) island with 10 stacks of dirt blocks, 15 buckets of lava, 28 blocks of ice, etc. That's enough proof that the player has ACQUIRED illegal items outside his original island. "But someone can make the 14 other buckets and buy obsidian for the..." Okay just stop. People like cypriotmerks ant stupid . I know for a fact how hard it is to acquire grass blocks. Me and my 2 friends get 2 grass blocks a day, total of 6 for the island, i would mine my stone gen for 1 hour and get around 30 stacks of cobble and sell it for 12 grass (that's 2 grass blocks every 5 stacks), or sell 2 stacks of logs/stone for 1 grass, etc. It would take me *all day* to maybe get half a stack of grass and use it to expand my farms, but would only take 15 min for people to earn twice the amount and use every excuse possible so they don't get banned. When i see this guys stacks of dirt and he has all those other starter items (like the ice), everything should be confiscated except for his original amount of dirt blocks, which is what, around 50-55.
Maybe if this is to be enforced it should maybe... be in the rules? I'm not saying that it's an unjust law, but how is anyone meant to know that it is illegal to possess these items when there is no rule against it?
You make some terrible trades, I used to sell cobble stacks, 2 for 1 grass. made me loads of profit, there's also a total of like 8 vote links, that'd make another 24 grass. Everything is easy.
I wouldn't say terrible trades, but their fair trades. I don't know about 8 vote links (just vote.skyblock and vote2.skyblock), but I get 4 grass blocks every 24h and I would do everything i can to earn more. I figured, I get a stack of cobble once every 2 min, i can sell it for something reasonable. 10 minutes of effort seems reasonable for 2 grass blocks (using a very efficient stone gen) and many new players are willing to invest their grass blocks into the cobblestone. Same with logs. In no way shape and form would I ever consider trading a grass block for 2 stacks of cobble, so I only sold what I would buy off someone else. Any how, I mined hundreds of stacks of cobble since I played and even though I plan to make more stone gens in my island (teammates continue to destroy it), I won't really mine as much anymore. My teammates are donors and managed to buy a spawner. I made a huge sphere (16 block radius) and put the spawner in the middle, i made the trap, now i can just get a iron ingot from the zombies and sell it for 10 stacks of cobble. Right now the most annoying thing (Im not a donor) is having to repair my god enchanted iron sword and once every few repairs, have it scammed from me, buy another one for 4-5 iron because some 100$ donors+ are lazy and greedy and back to killing zombies.
I happen to know that alot of donors don't mind doing the enchantments for free, or 1 iron ingot Also, I've been playing MMORPG's since I was 8 or something, I've been into trading with profit ever since 2006, on RuneScape.. So yeah :d
