Lol recently there has been an increase in staff reports and many are for the pettiest things. And reading through some of them is actually decently entertaining about how something as small as a joke in global or a kick, etc could warrant a couple of page long discussion of a staff report. I really wish you guys would take in consideration first of all before you report a staff, think of why the staff would have done that and how is it abuse. If it was said jokingly please don't make a report. Or if you think you were kicked unfairly, it could be an idea to clarify the reason with the staff in question before putting out a full blown staff report. They're meant for abuse and things that would warrant a strike or a demote, not for something petty. Unless you have hard evidence that a staff has committed something of abuse or has done anything deserving of a demote, then please do make a staff report. ^this is just my opinion Now how about you guys? What do you think? How much would you report at and what would you considering worth reporting?
Reporting a staff should be done if the staff has broken one of the official rules or have abused their powers to break an official rule or have used their powers for negative outcome. Contact a staff to question their actions on the forums. Generally if you are going to push the boundaries do not expect any action to be taken in the report or sympathy. Make sure all staff reports have proper evidence and are comprehensive.
Agreed. Many wills caps, then instantly apologizing after it. Once I kick that player and they come back, they tell me that it was a 'wrong' kick as they apologized after.
 not everyone will understand when and when not to report so yeah you're basically out of luck either way lol
I think that if a mod is going to kick for something like language, then they shouldn't use explicit language themself. I'm all for chill moderators, but I can't stand hypocrites.
Usually people make staff reports because a mod kicked them, for what it seems to be "no reason," and they're salty af in the report.
I don't get why people get so worked up over kicks. It's just a kick. Nobody even knows they got kicked until they start complaining about it...
Unless you add something to the original thread, take away the s on staff reports. To make it clear, the report was stupidly locked by krissy before I could post a reply why the hell I made that. She won't unlocked, and I don't see the need to bring it up again because krissy will just lock it again.
Another point that I find slightly irritating is when people report a staff for saying something to another player (who might be a friend to them) who does not find what the mod said offensive. Imo if it's not concerning you, and it's not breaking a rule, reporting it is pointless .-.
And bear in mind that false or pointless reports against staff is punishable with ban time on the forums
Lol I'm sure hes talking about me i have recently been moderating chat and catching every wrong thing a mod says i took screenshots and have made over five reports I'm sorry if it is getting annoying... But i am just trying to get the mods to realize they arent any better than us and just because they have [mod] next to there name dosent mean they can do somthing and not get in trouble for it some of the things mods are saying if i said it i would be banned.
No one said mods are better then players, but they do monitor the server. Where did the think of "Mods are better then players" aspect come from? .-.
