i've seen an educational channel use the word a***, in an effort to educate us about anatomy and our own body.

In my opinion, its censored for the same reason other specific body parts are censored; people use those words in an inappropriate and immature manner. I can say from experience Ive never once seen those words used in an mature and appropriate manner on either net or org. But as Dew said, this is a g-rated server. The way those words can be used is far from g-rated. Having them censored is far easier, safer, and more peaceful for anyone of any age.
