Id personally really like to be a part of the staff. I put in a form and got denied mainly due to lack of time registered on the server. But also because of lack of forum posts. The registration time is understandable. But I think the post requirement should be lowered. I spend most of my time playing on the server or on other games. This doesn't give me much free time to make posts here on the forums. I also don’t think forums posts which mostly relies on how social you are/ how many changes or topics you want to discuss. I don’t think this should have correlation with becoming a staff and helping the server. I hope to see a change in this.

No support. Having 50 posts and being a member for at least two weeks shows that you are at least mildly active in the community. I personally think that these requirements are a bit low, and if any changes were to be made, the requirements should be increased. Moderators also have to moderate the forums, which means that they should know how it works, and have experience interacting with the community on here.

I am going to say neutral.
People should post quality content, and that doesn’t always mean a large post count. I think the post count requirement encourages spam and not so quality content that really proves anything significant.

I would like to see that requirement lowered or replaced to something more meaningful since post count doesn’t always indicate dedication or activity.

Not to mention some users may have 50 posts and a lot of time since joining but aren’t even active. They can apply. But an active in game user with 30 meaningful posts cannot apply.

50 posts is easy to get but isn’t indicative of ones ability to moderate

Why I’m going neutral is because the post count requirement and even the time registered was to stop most users from creating an account just to create a mod app then leave. I don’t see this as a huge issue now that apps are denied for inactivity after a while.

No support, 50 posts is not that hard to get. If anything they should add more requirements

The requirements are extremely easy to meet compared to other servers.
I actually agree with Benji though, I think they need to up the requirements, maybe not the post count considering people seem to spam messages to meet the requirements as Krissy said.

Speaking as someone who is shy, it was very difficult for me to reach the 50 point requirement. I'm not really one to speak unless I think I have something of value to add, so I understand where you're coming from.

The reason we have a 50 post requirement is that staff members also moderate the forums and need to be familiar with how it works, and the best way to learn it is to use it. We are also looking for active and committed staff, and forums are a major part of our community, so we look for members who have earned a reputation for being helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. While it's true that you can be helpful in-game, not everyone is online at the same time, so players in different time zones might never hear of you unless they see you participating in the forums.

The best advice I can give you is to find some section of the forums that appeals most to you, and do your best to contribute to the discussion in a meaningful way. For me, it was helping players who had questions. Others post how-to guides. Rather than focus on post count, just engage with the community in the way that suits you best. The post count will come on its own. :)

as a moderator, you'd need to moderate forums also. so forums activity is very important too, it's not just about being on the server

    so no support sorryy

No support, moderating the forums is a big part of the job and therefore activity is needed to get to know how everything works and to get to know people in the community

It's really not that hard to achieve :)

You need 50 posts and have the account 2 weeks old. (Not that Hard)

You need to have 2FA enabled.

You need to be active and helpful. (and ban rule breakers)

You need to have Offline Community.

You need to have less than 30 meanful posts. (or look at krissy's reply)

You need to try not getting warned/kicked/banned for few months.

This is the real information to apply for Helper/Moderator.
