spamming MYSELF

I know people should get banned if they spam other people. but YOURSELF?! today i was sitting there spamming myself [/msg 1000101 &11&22&33&44&55766&77&88&99&00] and i get kicked. Then i come back and akrillz [an `EX-mod' who still has mod powers] tells me to stop spamming. Then i only knew i was spamming myself. then i get told that mods can monitor msgs. then [Yes, i admit it] i got really pissed and started spamming myself. I am not sure if i should be banned but i wanna get unbanned

OK. As I tried to explain in game. Moderators use social spy to monitor in game messages. This is done to detect illegal trades, spamming, bullying.. all sorts of reasons. Yes, Akrill still has social spy. When he resigned it must have still been switched on when he was demoted. Akrill is a trusted player on .net and although I am sure the admins will remove his access to Socialspy, they are very busy and it is low priority.

Spamming yourself with /msg's also spam any mods monitoring chat. Monitoring chat on .net is hard enough as it is, without constant spam from people like yourself. You were warned multiple times to stop spamming, which you chose to ignore. Since I am unable to /mute you in /msg's and you continued to spam, you received a temporary 24 hour ban.

Take this as a warning. Reel your neck in and stop trying to be a big man. You were blatantly gunning for a fight. Mods have social spy. Get over it. We also have the right to inspect your island, your inventory and your chests in the execution of our duty. That's something you are going to have to live with.

Your appeal is denied. Serve your 1 day ban, and come back tomorrow. Be nice, and have fun. Life is too short for anger over a game. Hope to speak to you in game soon.
