Randomly banned

Hi everyone,
So i just started today on this skyblock server.
And after 1 or 2 hours i just got randomly banned.

Reason: The Banhammer has spoken!

Is this a thing on this server?

The ban is just for 2016-05-03 at 13:00 MST (Idk when this is in my time zone but i guess it was just for 30 min).
Is there a solid reason for this ban?

 

Yup, this is a "thing on this server". We have an archaic plugin that bans everyone who is lagging, as the console identifies the player as fly hacking. You should avoid falling or walking on slabs during extreme lag. You can use the command /ping to check your latency lag. The higher it is, the laggier are. I am at 250 ms, which means that my connection could be way better. Although I sometimes lag extremely (1100ms)

The ban last 30 min only, so you have no chance but to wait it out.

Thanks for the answer. it was just weird because i was jumping and got banned.
