Public fishing

I think it would be cool to have a public fishing pond (maybe just around the newspawn or somewhere)
i know not many people fish often but it would be cool to have was some sort of event or had a fish trading.

Noobcrew on .net does events already like this sometimes. Just last week he spawned a giant floating pond on .net at SPAWN and let it sit there for a few days. Though I do support this, events like these already happen.

Sure, but you could also fish in a water sorce at your island.

 

Sadly a 2x2 water pool doesn't work, so it would actually take real work to do so I support this.

 

I just fished in my 4x4 pool and got many fish.

I would support the idea, but sadly.. when you reel a fish in.. you don't always catch it. Sometimes it flies right past you...which most likely lead to several people fighting over "That's MY fish!" "No It's mine!"

Which will only cause more headaches.. so.. I say:

How about several, like 10-20, 7x7 or something bottomless fishing pits, with walled off areas and are protected. You could allow like 2 people per room, and it'd be much more organized versus a big 50x50 pit (honestly any smaller would be overcrowded)
