Closed Plugin suggestion.

The inventory interactions can interfere with players mods/keybinds, and has potential of abuse for players wishing to spam the server with heavy sorting interactions in an attempt to harm server performance.

I personally use the Inventory Tweaks mod, which I would recommend for anyone looking for similar sorting options. This mod is purely client side, so you just need to pop it into your Forge mods folder, and configure how you'd like I would be cautious, though, as heavily sorting some inventories with this mod can lead to you sending too many packets, and getting kicked as a result.

While I'm not fully opposed to these types of plugins, I don't think it would mesh well with the current server play-style. Many of the plugins on the server are designed to only add features to the server, but not change core components. The only changes made to core gameplay mechanics were made to help balance out the economy (not allowing silk touch on grass, reduced drop rates in the nether, etc). It may just be because I've been here a while, but I feel a plugin like this would throw off the overall feel of the server. New players also may be most severely affected by it. One of the first things you do on Skyblock is cut down your starter tree, so new players would be a bit surprised when they watch all of their leaves immediately poof, possibly sending all of the saplings/apples into the void.

 

Yeahh... If the chest has a bunch of different items, it'll send too many packets and kick you. I'm thinking I'll modify the mod here soon to add a packet delay between movements, as currently the mod queues all of the changes immediately. I'll let you know if I do make my custom version and get it working
