I spend some iron crafting rail and a minecraft. But then I sai that rails can't be placed. Pls add them, forse making perple use minecarts in other peaple Island. Ty
There's something that means rails can't be allowed. I believe that much like hoppers there is a way players can use rails (or more importantly, the things riding them) that results in item duplication. It's also possible that it causes lag. I support the idea of not letting people craft rails at all (much like the inability to craft vote keys), as many new players unaware of this waste the little iron they have on useless rails.
I remember when I had rails placed at my old island. I tried to place it a few months ago and I was surprised it was disabled. No support, agreed with Lycel.
It's disabled to stop duping. However it would be a good idea to disallow people to craft rails. You can always use powered rails (I believe).
No support, I don't even think you should be able to craft them because, like Lycel said, it's a waste iron. Also, having rails, specifically minecarts, would add to the lag because they are entities that do NOT despawn.
I don't think having rails would benefit players. Your island isn't that big and yes its nice to just sit down and ride through out an area but for a smaller island you can just walk it's a waste of iron and not needed for skyblock.
Though I said I have no support for this, it is highly possible that when the developers fix or highly reduce the lag that they will allow hoppers and rails.
