playing on a mac

    I've been trying for a few hours to play skyblock but have yet to have any success. I'm sure doing something wrong but can't figure it out. Any tips?

    Ok, I am lost. You should not have to download anything but normal minecraft for your computer to join our server. The IP address is skyblock.net

    Oh, I see! That's what I tried to do first but I keep getting a "connection lost" message before I can join. What should I do about that?

    If you want to play multiplayer skyblock on our server, you don’t have to download anything. Just open minecraft, go to “Multiplayer”, “Add Server” and in the IP section type skyblock.net

    Try to switch your minecraft version from 1.8 to 1.12.2 and then do the following:

    Join IP Address skywars.com

    After you are inside skywars, use in game commands to navigate to the server you were trying to join before.

    /server - lists all servers available
    /classic - the 1.8 of skyblock
    /skyblock - the 1.12 version of skyblock
    /economy - the 1.12 version of money based skyblock

    If this did not fix your connection, then update us here. Type your username, the last place you remember playing on, and i'll try to teleport you as you join the server.
