I think that you shouldn't be able to have the same /nick as someone. I've been nick abused so many times, and its really getting annoying. Almost every time someone nick abuses me, they say something really inappropriate. Sometimes mods cant even catch the person whos doing it, because they switch back to their previous nick or do /nick off. Its just very irritating, and it would be great to put nick abuse to a stop.
There is already a suggestion on a /nick cool down . Nevertheless I agree that /nick should have some kind of restrictions.
If you would like to avoid being nick abused, I would advise turning off your nick so that it's your ign for the meantime until there's some sort of resolution to this.
There is this plugin "booscooldown". It is already installed on the server. I believe it is to make sure kits were not being given after every restart. In this plugin commands can be configured so there is a cool down. Simply add /nick to it and problem solved. a 15-30 cool down will be enough incase people need to fix nick errors. So support.
Yes, but people can still make it look like my playername. One of the reasons I bought donor was to change my nick. I dont think its fair that its fair that i need to turn off my nick because of someone else joking around. I want to be able to use all my perks with out any problem.
