Mob Spawner

I just sold a Bunny Head for 100 diamonds and 1 mob spawner (was that a good deal or a rip-off by the way?). I asked the guy who traded with me if I could choose what mob would spawn with the spawner, and he said I could do /spawner. I traded with him, and when I got home, I did /spawner and it said I didn't have permission for that command (I am not a donator). What do I do now? If I place the mob spawner, what will happen?

 

Only donators have /spawner.

If you place the spawner, it's placed. However, some mods pick them up. But not all of them.

 

Spawners can only be changed when they're placed. But only a donor25++ can change it, just ask in chat many people are happy to do it for free.
If you need the location changed, ask a mod, most will do it for you if they aren't too busy.
