Hi does anyone else get kicked when sending more than 2 messages? The kick message says its an autokick for spam, yet I have tried waiting anywhere from 5 to 30 seconds between sending short/long messages through /msg or /r and it still results in a kick. Does anyone else have this issue? If so, what can be done to fix it? This is probably the most annoying thing I've come across in the last 4 years on this server, especially because it causes interruptions and potential misunderstandings in conversations where the other party doesn't even know you've been kicked, responds to your previous message without you knowing, and then your response will look out of context or nonsensical.
yup, way too often and its so frustrating. i think this has only been happening since a few weeks ago
I also haven’t had this problem on 1.19.2. My knowledge on this stuff isn’t the best but i believe the kick spam timer is dependant on TPS. Lower TPS will result in it being set off more often.
yea ever since the server has been having really low tps the past few weeks this has been happening to a lot of people, i use 1.19.2 too
I've been getting kicked frequently when the server is very laggy on 1.20.4, but I don't think it has anything to do with spam kicking like gamer mentioned.
I am version 1.19.2. Pls does someone have a fix for this, I've been literally starting conversations with /msg and then just visiting the person and typing in local chat
