Increasing letter count.

Agreed, when people ask for help and you have to give step by step instructions, I always had to break it up into 2 or 3 posts :c

Debatable, some people like writing lots (like Lycel - it's a good thing don't worry!) and some more space would be nice, thousands is unnecessary but maybe 550-650 would be nicer instead of 420.

 

Support! I rage so hard when I can't fit all my words in the status bar. This will make it easier for people on mobile actually because you can't really tell how big is your profile post on a 3 inch width screen and when you do post, you get an error message saying you posted over the limit. Plus most of the profile posts are like around 140ish characters so it makes it easier to add on with the extra space

Just an idea of how insane the difference is between the post count on your own profile versus posting a status on someone else's.
Please fix ;c

Support regarding a general increase of the character limit on replies, though. I get it can be spammy on the right bar on the forums home page, but replies don't need to be so limited. Explaining anything more complex than how to use a mirror requires trying to guess where the best place is to split your post that will still fit within the limit. In the end, having the limit doesn't change how much people write (as you just split the posts) but it does change how annoying it is to explain things.

I support this because the fact that the post count is so low, I cannot fully say what I wanna - oh shoot I ran out of room and so I cannot type it or I have to make it ugly and somehow shorten everything.
“Hi how r u Gud Oh thts gud Today I went to the store & I got mlk.” See? Ugly. I know bad example but y’all know the point I’m trying to get across. Fix this please Leeeroieee

 

Support. I've never faced issues with this until recently when I had to make my status longer than the characters allowed. I can easily tell that many players, including myself, are frustrated by this. It's not a major change, only the character limit for statuses.
