Hopper disabled:

Just now I was playing in the .Net server and making a really useful casino-redstone circuit that could give me alot of winnings, but for this casino to work I need hoppers. Aparrently thay do not work, I really do not know why, but if possible activate them. Why? Well if hoppers are activated a new generation of casinos will be born. Just imagine how much fun you could have in a real life/minecraft life full working casino. Also I would like to add that hoppers do cause lag, I believe, but it won´t be that much if moderated. Even with lag people will have something else to focus on than just banner shops, making, at least for me, the game a lot more fun. WHO AGREES???

Hoppers were disabled because there are ways to dupe items. If I'm correct, Cyp won't plan on re-adding them.

Yes, players find ways to duplicate items from hoppers hence why the administrator removed it to prevent it from ever happening again. He does not trust them, regardless.

 

but isn't there a way to avoid dupe. If there is not I will not press more on the matter. Thanks for answering, if any news about this matter appear let me know

 

There is a thread on how to fix the dupe glitch on hoppers, however.

 

There was a suggestion created with the following information of a new plugin that prevents duping from hoppers.

 

I'm sure we'll work it out some day.

 

A plugin? why not add it? Sorry if i am too pushy, that gave me a littlebit of hope.

 

The administrator and/or the developer needs to test it first.
