Homecoming or Winter Formal?

Before you do comment on this tread just so you know if you are in high school this will be familiar to you if you dont..welcome to a whole new world of high school



Hey guys so Homecoming is coming up and I was wondering if I should go ask my gf out but the tickets are pricey (I think). Or should I go to Winter Formal?

Personally I would go to Winter Formal bc it is in december and december is the last month of 2016 with TONS of fun events like winter break, christmas, etc. Plus it would be soo cool if my gf asked me out

I'd just do both, but if you have to pick one, I'm sure winter formal would be loads more fun.

Basically they are sort of like middle school dances except there are a few in high school and for both, you have fun with a girl. For Homecoming, YOU have to ask a girl; for Winter Formal A GIRL has to ask you

 

You are so far from being correct.
1. You do not have to attend with a date. You can go with friends, or just find people there. A date is never a requirement.
2. Every school it changes whether girls ask guys or guys ask girls. Just because it's like that at your school doesn't mean it's the same at all others. Even though it's customary for some dances for a girl to ask a guy or a guy to ask a girl, it really doesn't matter. Like for prom it's customary for guys to ask, but tons of girls at my schools were asking guys.

 

i'd say winter formal, sounds a lot of fun.

Do both. If you have a girlfriend you should be willing to pay the money for the two of you to go. How much are tickets?

 

You don't have to even ask someone my man. You can ask a friend and just go for fun. Asking someone doesn't mean you have to date them. You can ask someone you've never talked to, but I wouldn't advise it.
