Help!

I am unable to break or place any blocks on my island!! ;( and Christmas Is coming up... how am I supposed to get my friend something!
I've tried:​

• restating my minecraft up and refreshing a new island​
• I've also tried getting my friend to place blocks and she cant either​
• I also cannot open any chest.​

but I can at someone else's island if they trust me of course.and that doesn't work! can you guys give me some suggestions on how I can be able to place blocks again?

Is this everyone on your island or just a certain area?
There is island protection, you may of built off the border of your island

 

no its everywhere and I tried resetting the island and it still didn't work but thanks for your input!

 

What are your coordinates to your island?
If they're near any protected warp, then you'll have to join someone's island and then leave it for a new island with new coordinates.
