Hey All, Today my suggestion is To remove the link that spambots post in their profile. This is on mineverse and it works well. A spam bot always post a link in its profile that people can still access even when the profile is banned, thus allowing people to go to that website. I say allow mods to delete the profile post. It creates more work for mods but works well. We havent seen a bot for ages. Thanks King
Spambots don't always post in their profile, but anyway, mods can delete that profile post, and they should, however many don't. That's the only issue here.
Report the account and I'll edit all the links out, currently I'm the only one that can I don't mind doing it. Just leave a note telling other mods to not solve the report. They can delete the posts, but not the location etc.
This suggestion is to get the permisssion for all mods to be allowed to do it. Not all mods can delete and this is more of a suggestion to make it a rule for all links to be immediately deleted by a mod when posted.
Give the permission to all mods if possible... because i know you can when the forum updates. In the most kindest way possible its not practical to have zambiana fix the bots locations and such (depending how many) since usually i remove a bulk of em and zambiana isnt even online. By time he is, its long gone with no point in removing them. As soon as the forum updates which will happen soon hopefully, this wont even be an issue.
it doesnt have to be locked. Im not sure when the forums will update. so just leave it for the moment?
