At first, the drop party was a big mess. 300+ peoplw were gathered at spawn. Cyp an Crew dropped 50 heads the traditional way but it was so laggy that you couldn't move around. Then, they finally added the plugin to randomize who would get the head. Each person could only get 1 head and if they got another or an alt did they took it away which is fair and unfair. I didn't win any but I bought 2 bunny's. Let me know your thoughts about the drop party below!
I attended. Terrible. Somehow I wasn't lagging at all which was odd, because I was on my laptop which was running 2 minecraft accounts.. usually I use my PC
People are being very negative about the drop party. It was a free event in which you had a choice whether to attend or not. No one was entitled to a head and being patient paid off for some. All you had to do was leave a account on with auto reconnect and go. And getting a head confiscated if you got more than one is a perfectly fair rule for the server so more people get a chance to own these items. Remember, you paid absolutely nothing for the head so be grateful if you got one and if you didn’t, trade and be hopeful next drop. It was the first drop party on the new server and yes, it was laggy but what’s new honestly? Even classic back in 2013 was super laggy when drop parties were on. And yes, they had an unexpected issue that probably could have been fixed with a pre test but they did their best to give us a great time, make sure we all got a chance at a head and overall it brought hundreds of players and their alts online and the community was together. Just because it was chaotic doesn’t mean it was a bad drop party.
LOL nobody said it was a bad drop party so I don't know where you got that from. Also, it's 2018 and technology is better than 2013 so of course it's the staff fault as they didn't use technology like they could've. And Cyp and Crew were so unprepared, they didn't even have the plugin ready LOL.
