Hello. I am not here to talk about doing more drop parties but making them different.
As some of you may know the minecraft system is developed so randomly developed list of people that will be more magnetic to items in a order when they join a server. In other word some people will get items faster than others which mean only some people gets the items in Drop parties and some wont. Like we once had before in /warp skybase I would like a chest where we could do DP's and have items put in which would be the most fairest way possible. (at spawn would be a nice place.) Thank you for reading this and please vote for this suggestions if you agree. XD

I don't understand :/ If all the items are put into a chest, some people could easily get 20 and some 0 due to lag, not being able to reach the chest and really picking up 1, hovering it over another, holding shift and double clicking and they have all of them!

There's a hack called chest stealer where you don't even have to do shift double click.

Oh wait then whoever can shift and double click the fastest wins. Atleast its a matter of reflexes and not random. By the way does not shifting speed it up? Why hack for it. Cant u hold down shift?

I think the whole point/fun part of a drop party is for the person that's dropping to just throw the items and give everyone a fair chance, and for the people at the bottom to try and grab the items. :) It would be hard to "drop party" in a chest and would also defeat the whole purpose of the event.

Shifting allows you to slot the items quickly into your inventory without having to manually drag them over. However, there are hacks that exist that let people take items without needing to hold the shift or double click or whatever way you normally take items from a chest.

I agree on everthing but DP being fair. like I explained when u join a server minecraft randomly generates it so some people will get items faster. So thats why some people get nothing while others get a tons of stuff.

The same problem might still occur with a chest though.

Drop party means throwing the items.
I guess putting them in a chest is like a loot party
for any rare drop parties there are several other good ways to distribute items, it just needs good planning :)

No Support. Part of the fun of drop parties is the randomized nature of it. I agree that it seems that some people get more items than others, but that is part of the games programming so there is not much we can do about it. And any kind of "chest drop party" would require the reintroduction of hoppers which could lead to hopper griefing.

Anyone way of distributing the heads is never going to be perfectly fair.
