So I saw threads and chat in game about this. Are you able to use in game currency (diamonds) to get a donor rank? It seems weird "donating" in game items is the equivalent of donating irl money. How does this work, do you just give whole bunch of diamonds to a mod and they give you donor rank, and if so what are prices?

No, you give currency to a player that is willing to donate to the server for you. So they are paying the real money, but you are giving them diamonds.

Thanks for clearing it up. It seemed weird that you could use diamonds to get a donor rank

Yeah, I don't think they would ever make it so you go directly from in-game items to a rank, as that would make it no longer a "donation".

Yeah basically what's already mentioned above; you pay someone who has the amount of real money and pay them the amount of diamonds they want, and the usual diamond to $ rate is 10 Diamonds = $1

If you gave someone the diamonds and they didn't buy the rank, since it's not "trading" could you still report them for scamming?

Yes, and its considered as a very high offence. My recommendation is when you trade with such huge amounts of diamonds, get a moderator to watch the trade or record the deal. Being a victim of a scam of that many diamonds is no fun.
