    DimSimHunter

    · Age

    16 years old

    · Time Zone

UTC/GMT +11 hours or AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time)

    Country: Australia
    State: Victoria
In a year or so I will be relocating to Tokyo, Japan.

    · Spoken Language

100% fluent(reading, writing and speaking) in English and Japanese

    · Past History (Bans, Warnings, etc.)

Never been banned or warned by staff, although there was an incident that has since been dealt with in the Amnesty Forum regarding possible greifing.

    · How long have I played on the server? (skyblock.net)

I have started playing for almost 4 months. I am aware that it is not a long time but I have since familiarised myself with all the rules and technical information regarding the server.

    · Why should I be a Moderator.

I have noticed that only a couple of the moderators are from Australia and that there was an increasing need for them recently. I absolutely love playing on skyblock and appreciate the team that helps to keep a crime-free and safe online community that .net is today and it makes me want to be a part of it. I think it is very important that the server should be regulated strongly but fairly, and I believe I have what it takes.

I think that being a mod does not just mean banning offenders or fixing technical problems, but means to give to the community by helping a range of people whether they are new comers, or veterans, whatever the issue may be. Since I received my donor status I have used the perks that comes with it to my full advantage. I have flown around to different islands (with permission from a mod) to find or report any offences or issues that may have been present. In particular I regularly contact users that are trying to bridge to other islands as it seems to be common. I warn them that it is an offence and that they should think about their actions. I like talking to them and making them understand what is done wrong rather than reporting them straight away.

I am a very sociable person and I am active in chat whenever I am online. If a see any questions on the chat I tend to message them privately with thorough answers. And also if I see any people unaware of the rules (bucket trade, Dirt trade, sand trade, etc.) I let them know straight away to guide them away from committing an offence before it is too late. Some people are just not aware of the rules and all they need is to be brought to their attention of the fair rules provided by the skyblock team. I have seen many people spamming, advertising and swearing in chats regularly and with my knowledge and patience I think I can make it a better place.

I have always been interested in IT related lines of work and I intend to take the position very seriously. I have completed a Simple Software Development senior study course at my high school last year, which has brought me a basic understanding of technical tools which will definitely help me towards understanding the tools used by the moderator team.

I am gradually starting to be a fairly active user of the forums and have received positive feed back from staff and fellow forum users. I understand that I may not be that active on the forums but I am definitely willing to be more supportive and informative in the near future.

Getting this position would be an honour and a great start to my path in IT. I will utilise my position to the fullest extent and assist the fantastic community of skyblock and try my best to make it a more safe, enjoyable and crime-free server than it already is today.

    · When am I active?

A have a fairly tight schedule. But I will be able to be active ATLEAST 1 and a half hour during the day, and possibly for late nights (12am to 3 am AEST).

    · What past experience do I have in technology related fields?

I have completed a 1 year Simple Software Development Study course.

I have contributed extra time learning about administrator and moderator positions in my spare time.

I go on many different types of servers which has helped me expand my knowledge on online gaming servers.

    · Personal traits

    -respectful to others

-I have extensive knowledge of the server rules (.net)

    -Fair and understanding

-clear to speak to or discuss with

-Can cope with any kind of attitudes respectfully, and fairly

-I use my social personality to the best of my abilities online
