Appealing for Sethbuild

Note: Everything I write is what sethbuild told me to as I am appealing for him. I believe it is Lemonade 's appeal.

• Did you read the rules ? Yes

• Why do YOU think you were banned? For swearing

• Was this an incorrect ban? Nope.

• Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? Too many times to count for all the swearing.

Why do you think you should be unbanned? I think a 7 day ban is too cruel of a punishment for what I have done. First of all the statement I said did not personally offend anyone. It seems as though the only reason why the person who reported me was for the heck of it. Also, it has been the same person who had been reporting me for the past month or a half or so. I feel like I should not be banned for 7 days if only one person has an issue with my occasional swearing. Whoever this person is they should come talk to me first and then if I refuse to stop after him talking with me then that is when he should get help from a moderator. Lastly, there are people who swear all the time and get away with it. Sometimes they go even farther than swearing. They use racial, slurs and they even joke about mass shootings. Just like the other day I saw a player with the username OrlandoShooting. It broke my heart when I saw that, but they did not get reported. And then I get reported for saying "fking" that's all I said . I didn't spam nor said it twice, just once. And I didn't use it to offend anyone. However, I do understand I've broken the rules, but I just feel like 7 days ban is too long of a punishment. I feel like a simple kick out of the server would've been more fit for the rule violations.

PS: I was there when he said that "fking". There was that player who asked why dirt trade is illegal and I explained what is island farming and why. Then seth came along and said he really thelegendarybert? I do that all the fking time. So he meant he do island farming all the time but then he said jk.

 

Look, I'm sure you understand that we can't be online 24/7; but when other people break a rule, it does not give you the right to break another rule. I believe you were punished harshly for this several months ago if I'm not mistaken, correct?

Yet you didn't know it was illegal even after these bans, mutes and kicks?

 

I knew it was illegal and it was dumb of me to say it, but I just don't quite understand why it is a problem when nobody gets offended by it. Perhaps you could explain why.

 

It's against the rules because it says it's not allowed in the rules. Plain and simple.

But I assume you knew that since you said you knew the rules, right?

Yeah, no. Not going to happen. You obviously show no remorse for your actions, so I don't see a reason to unban you.

 

He said:

Remorse? Of course I don't feel remorse. You feel remorse when you hurt someone and you feel bad about it. Well I didn't hurt anyone. My statement offended nobody.
