Why is it a good idea? That's no reasoning

 

So here is the promised 5 paragraph essay... ish.

Let's look at each of the 3 visits. First, we have /visit skyshop, the largest shop in skyblock AFAIK. I had visited there within 15 minutes of writing this. This visit is good because players can buy basically everything cheap. The problem is that all the profit goes to very few people, namely The Cyk753 and some others. This is a private enterprise and not endorsed by Cyp or Crew. I don't think this one should be featured in an announcement.

Next, we have /visit SkyBlockHelp. It is also a private thing, but one that does not derive any profit or even take donations. The only tradeshop is in the tutorial. It has comprehensive explanations about anything you could want to know and some things that I didn't know, like Dough and Emerald being mods? It is not endorsed by Cyp but I think that if he were to inspect it he would endorse it or even make it a /warp help. This one should be announced in chat.

Lastly, we have /visit Mingo_x, a public mob grinder. I don't have much experience with it because I liked the one at /visit jimsb (Jimalexblack) much better. It does not derive profit, but would put down others who have mob grinders. I would say all donors should buy some alts and collab on grinders but I don't have a choice about that. Since this is a private thing WITH OTHER PLACES LIKE IT that are already warps, I don't think this should be featured.

Although this does seem like a good idea, it's not fair to anyone else who wants to create something like these warps. I'm going to have to say no support, although I do love these warps and I think they deserve more popularity.

 

No support. It's basically excluding anyone else who has shops/help islands/etc.

 

All of these visits are very useful for new and familiar players, but it excludes every else that tries really hard on their visits.

 

As other people have said, I don't think it would be fair to others with their own visits.

Maybe if it was changed every week or so, similar to a raffle?

 

If the SkyShop idea was implemented, it would be very unfair for other players with a shop.

Honestly you can just ask people what are the rules are..its simple as that and they are willing to help you (unless they are f****ts), plus there are TONS of shops people own so you can get whatever you want at a price thats right for you..in addition it is critical for the economy (apart from donors who are bringing down the price of diamonds cause cuz theres soo many of them).

 

They aren't a f**got if they don't help you.

why would there need to be announcements in chat? if you want mingos grinder, skyshop and skyblockhelp to get more people just say in chat /visit skyblockhelp or /visit Mingo_x or something.
