It's dark,
like my heart,
but there''s a little light,
if you try to fight.
But, your mind might take flight.
So is the sight,
of you happy, worth this fight?

The darker,
it gets, making it harder.
To survive,
this fight, called life.
The moment you dive,
there's a knife,
somewhere throughout this fight.
Don't be frightened, as of you can take flight.
But the flight is a long fall.
Don't be fooled at all.

Keep on fighting.
But don't let the light fool you.
As of you may fall, into a pool.
A pool, called depression.
