But in Canada homosexuality isn't a human right, whereas in the United States it is. Homophobia is technically no longer allowed in America but there is nothing against that in Canada. It's just that they can get married in Canada. I would know. (Sort of) Canadian citizen here?
Homophobia is completely allowed in America. Marriage has just been made into a basic human right protected by the constitution for ALL people. That's all.
Exactly. It's a basic human right, and therefore they shall be treated with respect. Black people now have rights, but if you're racist to them, it's not tolerated anymore. Same thing.
