Introductions: I am Pacman/littlejdude, and this is my application to become a moderator. This is something I take seriously, and will try my best to do it as professionally as I possibly can. Thank you for taking the time to read this. It means a lot to me. Your in-game name: My IGN would be littlejdude, but my nickname is Pacman. How old are you? I am 13 years of age, 14 in less than 3 months. My birthday would be on January fourth, 2002. What timezone are you in? I am in MDT (USA mountain time), or UTC -6:00. What country do you live in? I live in the United States of America, in the state of New Mexico. What languages do you speak? I speak English mainly, and for a school project, will learn ether Japanese or Klingon next month. (You know, Klingon? Those people in Star Trek? I'm such a nerd. . .) Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) I do not recall being banned on any of Noobcrew's servers, or any server in general. If I was, someone please tell me, because I don't remember a time. Why do you think you should be a mod? I believe I would be great at the job, and it would be a good experience for me, and can help me learn a lot. I know many of the tricks and jokes of scammers, and spend much of my free time looking all archived reports and ban appeals. I know the rules on and out. I treat this position like a real life job, and have asked the advice of family and friends on how to do this. I do know most of the forum commands, like using the [/hide], and the [/quote]. I spend a lot of time here. Being a mod is something that takes great responsibility, and I have seen many people try for it, some successful, most not. I believe that, even if I'm not ready for this, I can still try to the fullest extent to do my best. Anything people want me to improve on for this, I believe I can do. Being a Mod, I believe I can help the server. There are little .org mods that I see frequently. I also see many times in chat where people argue, and spam, and curse, and do all of those fun things, with nothing stopping them. Usually when I see this, I don't report, i just try talking to the people doing it. I try to be relatable, "Try not to say stuff in all caps. I used to do that, but these days it annoys people. I honestly don't mind, I can live with it." I believe this is the best attitude any mod, or person should have. I absolutely LOVE helping others. Any chance I get. I try to be the first one there when someone needs help. To me, mods should do more than be a chat filter, and help only with griefs, and scams. I have seen many people say to people applying that a mods job is not to help ingame. I do not agree. Ether way, with all this, I feel confident with my own thoughts and motivation, and time spent on this. What qualifications do you have? Kind When I'm on the server, I try to talk to people and be as nice as I possibly can. I even try to talk to the people who are rude to others, and get them to stop. Helpful I'm always watching chat for anyone that needs any help at all, and if I can help them, I will. If not, I refer them to someone who can. Mature Most of my friends, and people on the server say I seem way older that I really am. I try to be as professional as possible with things, and set a good example. Prepared I try my best to have anything I could possibly need ready. I have a notebook on my desk to jot stuff down, and I try to keep important things on my phone, so I can always have access to them. Organized Once again, I have my trusty notebook, and I keep track of things I could need later, and people that I believe I should watch out for. I would probably write down the names of people I warn/ban, that way I can watch if they make an appeal. Motivated If I ever have a goal in life, I try hard to make it work out. I always put in my best. Observant I try to have a keen eye, and be always on the lookout in chat. Honest If I make a mistake, Ill be honest about it. Lying never ends well for anyone. Profesional I try to keep the best attitude with things. My friends say it makes me boring and too mature, but I disagree. I think its great to keep an open mind, and to work hard with things. How long can you be active on the server everyday? Lets try to make a mini-schedule for this: Monday: 4:00 PM --> 10:30 PM Tuesday: 4:00 PM --> 10:30 PM Wednesday: 3:30 PM --> 10:30 PM Thursday: 4:00 PM --> 10:30 PM Friday: 4:00 PM --> 12:00 AM Saturday: 12 PM --> 12:00 AM Sunday: 12:00 PM --> 10:30 PM How long have you been playing skyblock.org? I joined the forums on April 21, 2013, but I joined the server itself about 2 months prior. If you want a relative event to place that at, it was about 2 restarts ago, and I was in a coop with the mod that made a public blaze spawned. (Icey401) Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I co-owned 2 private servers, own a small private server myself, and was a mod once on a small 50 player server. I know the big commands (kick, ban, mute, temp-ban, all that fun stuff) and I know the basics of log-block, hoping to learn more. Thank you For taking the time to read through this application. I know some of you may not support me, but to myself, i believe that the best thing I could do here, is try my hardest, and work hard with this, and if I do get accepted, I swear I will not let you down.
40% Support because your application is nice and your on a lot. - You rarely help others in org. Thats all
Skimmed the app, looks pretty nice. However, I agree with Bert, I rarely ever see you helping people. Also, your forums activity could use a bit of work as well. Work on those things~ Ill keep my eye on you for now
I see you online quite a bit, but not helping. However, the application is quite nice. You're forums activity could be improved. No support, goodluck. I hope to bring this up.
Ill work on my forum activity. Ill also try being more helpful ingame (I usually go afk time to time and roam forums, ill work on that.) Thank you Stel, thank you Cooper, anything I should improve on?
As I know, you're a busy guy. You've got a job on there so I see you quite frequently. I give my support to you since I know you're busy working with the "army" sometimes . But forums seems to be the only thing bringing everyone down. Try working on that, I am.
Yeah, the forem activity hits us all, but I have been working on that. Thanks for the support! Thanks for the support, but I think I still need to try to help in chat more.
