Coloured Name Tag Above On Head

Well, hey guys, I've noticed in BuyCraft it promises to give you a coloured (depending on donor) name tag above your player head. I think this is amazing feature and should come back. Anyone know why it was removed?

 

I don't know why it was removed, but I liked it. Support.

 

One of the bugs it had back with 1.6.2/1.6.4 was people with usernames that were 15 or 16 characters would get cut (For example, FromLegoUniverse would become &9FromLegoUnivers), which made skins not load for people with cut usernames. I would support this if names don't get cut, or Minecraft no longer relies on player names for skins.

 

I still find it a bit weird cause though you are right, the name is always there. It's just cut off you would think. Strange how some of the plugins work XD

If it could be worked out right, I support only if I can get a pure Green name just because Greenie XD

The thing above your head should say your /nick.

 

That would make it very hard for people without /realname to find out people's IGNs

Support, given the name tag plugin is fixed. It was super buggy when it was there, not only with what Lego said, but also every time you logged in it seemed like it chose a new random colour out of the ranks you had been, for example mine could be orange, light blue, mid blue, or red. Not sure why that used to happen, but it did.
