It's true that they can be worth a lot. I used to have one though, and it was insanely hard to sell. The market is small, and it's difficult to find a high offer.
It's better to wait than sell it to the highest offer you get in one day because who knows, maybe you'll get a higher offer. ;c Yes and no. It's difficult yet not difficult, just depends on the day and time if someone wants to buy it.
I know which thread you are talking about but, the person who made the thread said he would price them at 5-10 diamonds. However there are still people who would buy them at 100-200 diamonds. I honestly think that it's worth more and if I sold it for 5, I would be loosing a lot. cx
