Why do you think you should be a mod?

I believe I should be a moderator because I can persist to meet the standards of a skyblock moderator. I would like to see the server have more Australian mods, but oh well, the server can look after itself pretty well most of the time. I believe that the spam and the swearing needs to be reduced massively, especially when there's barely any moderators on in the AU timezone, so this could be a massive help if I become a moderator in the future. People are always complaining about how the spam in the AU timezone is quite bad so I would love to get on and fix that, I've seen it myself and it get definitely get out of hand with a moderator not being there to help.



Lack of moderators: The lack of moderators in the Australian timezone is kind of a downside, but this could be fixed. I believe we need more moderators in this timezone to cover the server and look after it as people are playing at the time, whilst there are barely any moderators online. We currently only have 5-6 Australian moderators, but some of them can't be on at times, and the extra help is definitely needed.

Patience: I have an extreme level of patience, I will ask for the player to take their time and will wait for them at all times. They can take up to as long as they want and can ask me any questions they need. I will not lose my temper whilst waiting for someone, I will be very considerate of them and let them take their time.

Maturity: I believe I am mature enough to fill this position as a moderator. If people are playing around, I stop them, I don't join in. I don't let my head drop when I am in a heated situation, and I stay calm to not keep continuing in the flame war. I will be able to quickly respond to people one by one and not let it get out of hand, I will be patient, like I said.

Fast typer: As some people know, I am quite a fast typer. This can help in situations when people are spamming me as I can quickly respond to one another without forgetting about another person. This can also help in some different scenarios as well.

Active: I admit it, my activity has not been so great in the last couple of weeks/months but I can definitely improve on that, and I know it. If you have a problem with my activity, please do let me know so I can take it into account. I will try my best to be on in my free time, as I have holidays for the next 2 weeks.

Understanding: I understand all the rules and I am pretty understanding when people need help, I will usually understand the problem and help them out as much as I can. I understand the rules enough so that I can deal with all the reports and help out around the community.

Trustworthy: I believe I would be a trustworthy moderator as someone can count on me without being betrayed. I believe being trustworthy is one of the main qualities of being a moderator, but yet many moderators blow their trust with others, which is not good to see. I'm not an abuser, so I believe I am trustworthy.

Contact: Most of the time it is easy to contact me through many things such as Skype, the forums and in-game as well. I should reply most of the time at the latest about an hour. I should reply straight away most of the time as I'm on Skype for a huge chunk of time.

Honesty: I am an honest person in general. I never lie about anything and know it can make people feel bad in real life and I am willing to make them happy in general. I don't want anyone to feel bad as a person. I will come clean all the time because it just makes me feel bad inside knowing that I'm doing something wrong and that's what I want to keep it like.


Friendly: I am a very friendly person in-game and in real life. I am a really easy person to go to and I believe that anyone can start a conservation with me and we can get along very easily in the future. I like to greet new people to the server and hope they can enjoy the most they can on skyblock.

Responsible: I believe I have the responsibility to be a moderator is one of the most important ones. You have to look after yourself, and be responsible for your own actions. I believe you can rely on me as a moderator and I believe I am capable of it.

Knowledge: I know most of the moderator commands as I am a moderator on mineverse such as, /kick, /ban, /mute, /tempmute, /tempban and many more. I know that a moderator is to use these commands as a way to improve the community not to make it worse.

Helpful: When I'm on the server, I always try to help people as much as I can. I don't like seeing people in trouble, but I try my best to help them. I don't like seeing chat spammed or filled with swearing, so I try to get people to refrain from that too as skyblock is a g-rated server.

Serious: I try my best to be serious, and if do become a moderator, I will be serious most of the time, but sometimes I will have a laugh. I won't be immature, but sometimes you just need to let go for a bit otherwise if you get too serious, you can overthink things. I know when something goes too far, and I never try to cross that line.

How long can you be active on the server every day?

Monday: 0.5 - 2 hours.

Tuesday: 0.5 - 2 hours.

Wednesday: 0.5 - 1.5 hours.

Thursday: 1 - 2 hours.

Friday: 1 - 2.5 hours.

Saturday: 2 - 7 hours.

Sunday: 2 - 6 hours.​

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?

As a matter of fact, I do.

I am a past moderator on mineverse, and I believe I know all of the responsibilities as a moderator. I believe I have fulfilled the expectations of being a moderator to the level where it is commendable. I know all of the commands, and I definitely know what it's like being a moderator, and how much pressure it can be.

Princess, you're a great moderator on Mineverse. I would definitely support, but there's one thing on my mind.

You have already a large server to moderate, why another? Mineverse is quite difficult to handle now as well, as Global Moderators are in place. But for now, I'm neutral.


Edit: If you become a moderator for Skyblock, and spend your time in it, wouldn't you spend less time in Mineverse? Or, Vice Versa.
