As you may know, I was mod before, on net but I resigned. I resigned because my parents didn't like the idea of TeamSpeak, Skype and talking to people like that. They have agreed to let me trial again if I promise not to use these programs, which I think are not essential tools for modding.

I can speak fluent English. I can speak French and Spanish very well (but not fluently) and I can speak extremely well in Japanese.

Why do you think you should be a Mod?

During my long time of playing skyblock I have noticed many things that would make me a great applicant for a moderator.

I have noticed (not just in skyblock but in my life) that I have many qualities to me that help me to be a better person and a leader and role model for others. I think that these qualities will help to be a moderator. I have learnt a lot in my life in the past year about myself and I think I am ready for the job.

I am always kind and caring to all the players in the community and I always help out wherever I can. I think the server needs someone who can be serious and fun at the same time and I know I can do that in an environment like this because I am usually on OP in my friend's servers.

Also, I honestly think I would be really good at this job so I'm hoping to be able to prove myself to everyone and myself, and if I'm not the suitable person for this position I can always be demoted (I hope this is not the case).

Anyway, I hope that I am given the chance to prove to everyone on org, that I am capable of the leadership role that is a moderator.

If I was given the privilege of being a mod, I can promise to all of you that I will hold the position with dignity and respect and I will try my best when all hope seems lost. I will work my absolute best and keep my head held high. I guarantee that I will keep these promises and strive to be my best not just for the community but also for myself.

What qualifications do you have?

Here are some qualities I believe I have, that would help me become a capable Mod:

Active- Although I am still in school, I can still play quite often (see schedule lower down in application). Sometimes I may have exams or assignments which could potentially effect the amount of time I can play or be on the forums. I frequently go on the forums to check up on everything.

Dedicated- I am pretty dedicated to this server. I have been playing for around one and a half years and this is probably the only server that I have been active for more than a year for. I only come on MC to play SkyBlock and the only time I would play something else is if my friends are.

Experience- I have been playing sky block for about 2 years now so I am familiar with warps, people and the game in general. I know that I can answer most questions people ask on the public chat which also makes me helpful. This much experience gives me the wisdom to be able to decide what is fair and what shouldn't be done. Obviously I am more experienced on net not org but a few months ago I moved to org due to the friendly community and lack if spam. I still have more to learn about org that I am learning each day

Friendly and Fair- I don't want to sound vain but I like to believe I am friendly and fair to the players on the server. I have made lots of friends on the server. I think I am an approachable person enough that people won't be afraid/confronted to ask me for help. Although I am nice to people, this will not hold me back to make the right decision as to if they should be punished for their actions

Hard Working- I try my best in everything that I do, including on SkyBlock. I work my hardest to be the kind of person that people can confront with out being intimidated or worried. I usually ask online Mods if they need help with anything. If I were to get Mod, I work do my best by working my hardest.

Helpful- I answer ALL possible questions that are asked by players on the public chat. You probably hear that a lot, but I can guarantee that I answer them all if I know the answer(s). I am also helpful because I can be on the chats and the server quite often to assist with any queries or problems that players may be experiencing. I am also a donor which allows me to /tpa to other players islands so that I can help out with anything on their island.

Intelligent- I go to one of the top 20 schools in Australia and I am quite intelligent. This will enable me to make decisions with intelligence as well as fairness. I can also type quickly if that helps. I am very familiar with the rules of SkyBlock also.

Responsible- Ever since I got banned for grief, I know the consequences for scamming/grieving so I never do it anymore. I always respect and obey the rules of SkyBlock and when I notice someone breaking them, I warn them of the consequences. Instead of just telling 1 person that they are breaking a rule, I say that rule is illegal to everyone so that the entire commnity and the person breaking the rule is aware.

Role model- As I know many players on this server, I can be a good role model. I was also school captain of my Junior School so I know how to be a good leader to a young audience (which is a large percentage of players on sky block). I believe I am a very approachable person so I hope nobody will be afraid or hesitant to ask me for help.

Team Player- I honestly believe that it is essential in life to be able to work in/as a team. Being an individual worker will get you somewhere but I believe that team players can achieve more. I am a team player and I always do what I can to benefit the entire group and not just myself and this is a large part of what Moderators do. I think I will be able to work amongst other people very well.

How long can you be active on the server each day?

Tuesday- 0 hours.
Wednesday- 2-3 hours.
Thursday- 2-3 hours.
Friday- 2-3 hours.
Saturday - 10-12 hours.
Sunday- 6-8 hours

Average Holiday Week:

Monday- 3-6 hours.
Tuesday- 3-6 hours.
Wednesday- 2-3 hours.
Thursday- 3-6 hours.
Friday- 3-6 hours.
Saturday - pretty much all day.
Sunday- 8-10 hours.


I'm not always on forums or in-game this much because I don't need to be, and after I check my alerts and browse for a bit I don't have anything to do after that, but this is how long I CAN be in game or on the forums

How long have you been playing skyblock.org?

I am not 100% sure but I would estimate about 12-18 months but about 3 months where I have only played this server and only net if the server crashes or too much lag etc.

Do you have any past experience as a Moderator?

Yes I do have experience as a Moderator.
I was a mod on .net this year for about three months but resigned (look at the top of app for reason).
I have been a Mod on a server with about 100-200 people on it at a time. So I am experienced with moderating in a large community like SkyBlock. I am also OP in pretty much all of my friend's small servers (this isn't really important but yeah) so I can be fun and responsible at the same time.

What I need to work on:

• I believe I need to maximise the amount if time I can spend on org so that I gain more experience and knowledge with this server, not using what I know about modding net as they are two completely different servers
• I think that I should socialise more with the org community as I want to be an approachable and reliable mod to all players, not just the ones I am frequently talking to

Conclusion~

I really hope that I am offered the position again. Like Lycel, Lime and many others, I know that I can be a great mod again. Since I was not demoted, but rather resigned, I honestly think that my choice of resignation shouldn't effect your opinion. I am now allowed to apply and mod, and there is nothing that can/will make me resign in the near future.
