שנה טובה (Happy New Year)

Happy new year/שנה טובה to anyone here who is Jewish!

This year on the evening on the 13th of September to the evening of the 15th of September is Rosh Hashonah (head of the year). It's the Jewish New Year and the start of the 10 day lead up to Yom Kippur where Jews fast and reflect on their sins. For me this year (5776) is special as it's my Bar Mitzvah year.

I live in New York in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood... With about half of my school being Jewish, I sometimes forget that for the rest of the world, we're a minority xD
