I took two honors classes in my freshman year: math and English. The work load wasn't bad at all; you just have to know yourself and spend some extra time to study.

Luckily I have one in my area, still a bit of a journey, it's like 30-50 minutes by bus, depends on the traffic, Bromley College.

At least try your best, that's the main thing, cause you never know, you might be able to get A's. :3

I'm pretty sure I can get As if I try, but I'm lazy and really, all that effort just doesn't seem worth it.

What do your parents expect? Because I know for a fact that my parents get upset with me, even if my grade was good, but I could have done better.

    That's gonna hurt your GPA. There's a big difference between a 3.5 and 3.8.

Welp, if that was the way it worked for me, my parents would be real freaking upset.

Well, of course my parents would love for me to be a straight A student, but they don't expect that, and even if they did, I don't like to live up to other people's expectations and they know that.
I can maintain Bs without really trying, and they're fine with that.

Grade Point Average. The mean of your grades (sum of grades/ number of grades). College look at that when you apply to their schools.

Do you think that taking all honors classes would be stressful?

I took all honors last year, along with an AP class. For the first month, I was mostly stressed out by the AP class, but by the end of the year, it was Geometry that was stressing me out the most. That's only based on the fact of my teacher though, so don't worry.

Being in all honors for me usually meant higher standards- which leads to better rewards, and the students around you are for the most part more mature than a non-honor class. You have nothing to worry about though. I can almost garenteed that you'll adjust and you'll realize it isn't that big of a deal. Text me if you're still worried though haha.

And Chiyami, the homework is completely based on your teachers. For me, I had a lot of reading homework for Ap Us History, but that's because there wasn't enough time to learn everything in the classroom. As for my other classes, I probably had math homework almost every night, occasionally english, and that's pretty much it. No matter the work-load, you will have to adjust your habits but it'll be normal to you by the second month.

Okay, so I'm not that good with AP's and such, in fact I ended up getting a 2 on my AP Physics exam. To be honest, I just don't think I was trying hard enough, but I ended up with good grades anyway. Just not where it mattered.
