[USA] TimePlaysGames' Moderator Application {Net}

This is my Re-Application. I know I have done some dumb things that I really regret but I address them below and apologize in advance. Hope you enjoy

Aside from that, I am a 13 yr old boy from New York (United States) who enjoys playing minecraft and other video games. Overall I just like to have fun and I hate when people try and take away that experience from others. For that reason, I am applying for Moderator.
Also a little note for Cyp: If you're reading this, know that I've been in this community for over 2 years. I was mod for over 1 year. Its been about 1 year since my demotion. Yet I'm still this desperate to have my position back (look at the edit list of this app)I hope you notice my dedication to this community.​

Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) I have been banned twice; Once for a misunderstanding a long time ago (early 2014) and once for my demotion. I have also been banned on Teamspeak for harassing a Moderator. I feel like the Teamspeak ban was the most significant because I demonstrated how immature, hostile, and just rude I can be. I feel like I have learned from what I have done and corrected my behavior for the future. I am older now and I can promise that I will never do any of the stuff that I have been punished for, especially when holding such a high responsibility of being a Moderator.

Why do you think you should be a mod? I think I should be a Moderator mainly because I have improved alot. I like to think that during my time as a Moderator, I did a good job. When I was active I was respected and I think I helped the community in the small ways that I could. If I did actually do a good job as a Moderator, I strongly believe that I will be much better at my role.​

• I have improved my temper. I don't see myself lashing out at any players and/or staff. During my time as a Moderator that was one of the things that I needed to learn to control. Now I am confident that I wont lose my temper. After all, I'm dealing with people on the internet that I don't even know personally. Why get mad?​
• I have improved my social skills. Being nice with people and learning to deal with problems is one of the main parts of being a Moderator. Throughout the entire day, people will be asking question after question and creating appeals. Dealing with those in a friendly and professional matter is crucial for helping people and being respected.​
• I have become smarter. I will always do stupid things considering I'm 13. But showing that I can be a little bit smart will show people that I know what I'm doing. And let's just face it, nobody wants help from a dumb mod.​
• I have gained more experience. After being a mod for over a year, I've pretty-much experienced everything. That means that I will be able to handle almost every situation professionally and confidently. And I can answer any question thrown at me. ​

All of these improvements show that I can be even better then before. There are some more reasons that I should be a Moderator aswell. I can be very active (considering It's the summer), I know how to use most of the plugins and Moderator tools to my advantage, I know how to use all of the Moderation tools on the forums, and I can be on the forums pretty much all day. Here is some more reasons I should be promoted.​

1. I'm very patient with people who need help. I obviously won't get upset at someone who needs help, and I will take all the time they need to explain to them.​
2. I don't take anything personally. I'm not going to go off on some random over the internet. I've learned to control my temper.​
3. I know how to deal with ban appeals. This is something I feel the current staff need help with. I'm strict in my appeals, but I don't deny every appeal that comes to me. I believe appeals are one of my main benefits.​
4. I know how to work with the negative. There's been many people in the community that have been known to be "bad" and for the most part I have never had a problem with any of them. In fact, I consider myself friends with them.​
5. I am drama free. HUGE problem with the current staff. I swear it's really freaking annoying with all the stupid staff/player drama. It's a minecraft server, grow up.​
6. I don't target players. This also has to do with being drama free. I'm not going to try and get a specific player banned if they don't deserve it.​
7. I am extremely fair with my bans. If someone is obviously malicious and keeps getting banned to try and find loopholes, why would I have them unbanned? Why would I keep them unbanned, but perm ban the non-donor for ruining someone's crops?​
8. I am very active now. I'm usually on teamspeak all day and playing .net during that time.​
9. I am really really really active on forums. I love using the forums because it's a great way to communicate with people. I can always be on to deal with spambots, rule-breakers, ban appeals, etc. I also am very familiar with particular sections (that only special people have access to ) and know how/when to lock, archive, delete, ban, warn, etc.​
10. I consider myself an extrovert. I'm not shy around players and I'm very eager to chat with and help players whenever needed. I think this is a good quality to have so people can trust me as a moderator and so I can help as many people as possible. In the time I was a Moderator I gained lots of friends and personal relationships (you can tell by the people who support this application ) this proves how this could be a helpful quality in the long run.​

How long can you be active on the server every day? As said above I can be very active since It's the summer. I would say 2-3+ hours per day. Of course, there's vacation and some days that I really want to Moderate and some days I want to take a break. but overall I can be (and I am) active. I don't really want to do one of those "active timelines" because I know that my hours aren't always certain. I can never guarantee my hours for one particular day. I can provide a general time, however.

Also considering there's no logblock (or grief, mostly) I can always be watching the chat with minechat when I can't be active on my pc

Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Nope, sorry. Yes; I have been Moderator on skyblock.net, Admin on a different server and hosted my own private server. Biggest server being skyblock of course.

Also, activity seems to be a common criticism on this thread and I understand that I haven't been active. I have definitely been trying but it isn't the biggest goal for me. Being active as a donor and being active as a mod dont have the same impact in my eyes. Trust me if I do get promoted I will be active since it is a responsibility.

 

Honestly, you were a very good mod. Support, just like the others said, be more active .
