Hoppers

When will hoppers work again Staffs?
Because I am willing to build something but it needs hopper and hoppers don't work.

 

I got told they were disabled to stop duplication

 

There's a glitch with hoppers in minecraft, so until it's fixed in minecraft itself, they won't be re-enabled.

I'm new to minecraft, are mojang usually good at fixing bugs like this? Or are they very slow.

 

It depends really on whether they think it's important or not. It took them so long to fix a glitch that allowed obsidian to be created that most people considered it a staple of minecraft until they took it out in 1.8. So, it's anyone's guess really. It could be fixed in 1.9 or it could take awhile.

 

1.9 is going to be a pvp update, so I doubt they will then.
