I never thought of myself as biased since I don't let my personal feelings affect me when I mod, but I guess I could of done it without knowing or noticing. I'll try to keep a better eye on it. ^_^ Thank you for the feedback, its very useful.

 

Some people don't want others knowing their personal problems.

 

Like I stated in my previous post. I never said mods should go in detail for their reason. I'm not asking why will they be active. Just a heads up they will be inactive. Is it really that hard?

 

It's their choice, as long as the staff are notified then it's fine. I've went inactive before but I've never made any public threads or statuses about it besides once.

 

Cant say much about net but gotta say i like the org mods, they seem cheery, useful and chatty the only thing id say is to add a few more mods to help pick up spawners and whatnot

so in short: mods are great but we need more to make their jobs a little easier xD

 

I needed to bring grades up and focus more in school. I will be back soon and I apologize for not telling everyone

I'd say something about mods but the only people I know that are/used to be mods are Sleepyhead08, Lycel, AmazingGraceGirl and keeper_of_flame. The problem is two of the mods are no longer mods and the other two are org mods that idk well since I'm a net nub ;-;

But...

I'd love to get to know some mods and be friends is possible =^.^= and then I'll add a real opinion answering this thread so plz no kill me cuz I have no opinion right now ;-; ~Flee

 

Cypriotmerks: you should take better care of .org, and before everyone will come here to tell me how he has a ton of servers to look out for, i know and i have most likely known it longer than anyone who feels like commenting it. But as i said when i resigned from org over a year ago, the server was dying, still is. The server had a top of almost 100 people on even sometimes during the day +0 timezone, now when i go on there are 1-4 people on, a collapsed economy and no use for european moderators since there is no-one playing. All this could have been avoided by making minor improvements or taking back some bad changes like the moderators code to act on situations. The new code badicly tells them to ignore everything unless its a bug or something happening on the chat, that is for what i know atleast. I know you have done well on .net and i havent been on it so there is nothing to rant about that, good job on that server. But still org was once actually a good server, which crew is apparently trying to sell according to some players. And as another thing that i'd like to see is real interaction with players. Trough the forums or in game, i dont mind about that. But actually just listening to peoples opinions about the stuff that happens on the server.

Don't remember the last time I posted, but either way.

I see 3-4 mods per day (still).
There was one moment where more would come on more frequently a few months back, but that lasted for a few days.
Still major gaps between moderators coming on.

Everyone has their own reasons for being inactive, which is fine.
But it's not helping anyone.
And it's not because of school, so don't try to give me that bull.
There's a very obvious pattern.
People are always active and on when they have an active application. After that, they slowly but steadily fade away.
There are certain exceptions that I've noticed, but that's a number I laugh at when I think about the amount of moderators currently in their ranks.

So yeah, good job to you few who are active enough to actually make a difference on the server.

To the rest, you should re-evaluate yourselves as to why you applied in the first place, if you consider yourself enough active and if you should do anything about it.

^This is only for .Net, as I haven't been on .Org in months
