[GizzBots] Griefing / Looting [Blaq]

Firstly, I'd like to start off by apologizing sincerely about my actions over the past 2 days. I would like to personally apologize to Blaq and thank him for putting up with me being a smartass over this period of time. Now, I will start my appeal. I request that my last appeal is closed.

3. Full exact Ban Message: Griefing/Looting, appeal @ Skyblock Forums -blaq 15/04
4. Did you read the rules ? Yes, I read them thoroughly.
5. Why do YOU think you were banned? The reason why I think I was banned is most likely not correct, so I am here to appeal for your best interests. I admit that the ban is perhaps a legit ban, so I will admit that I borderline 'greifed'.
6. Was this an incorrect ban? Well, technically speaking, no, it's a correct ban. With that said, I believe that it is a very harsh accusation, although the logs are there.
7. Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for? Yeah, for burning someone for fun.
8. Why do you think you should be unbanned?

I don't want to give you my whole life story, but here goes nothing.

I am from Mineverse, and I'm quite well known on there. I have a huge, aspiring personality and I admit at times I can be quite 'full of myself'. One day I found out what the Teamspeak server for Mineverse/Skyblock was, so I decided to check it out.

Over the time I have been on Teamspeak, I have made friends as well as enemy(s), one of them being Dewmellon. I would like for my appeal to be accepted a.s.a.p, so I will not argue this. I have been told that the best way for my appeal to be accepted is by admitting my wrongs and not blaming others.

So, I admit I was wrong. I apologize for reporting Dew which led to this ban, and I apologize for destroying some blades of grass on her island. That is really all I did, so that is all I will apologize for. On my last appeal, there was much detail which was discussed, and any questions I was asked were answered.

I'm not being more honest, I've shown the same amount of honesty in this appeal. You cannot comprehend half the things I am saying..

Come on Teamspeak and talk to me about it. This is totally unnecessary.

 

Oh, and btw, it's in the perfect report which was filed against Dew. I mean, it's not half obvious that the report was absolutely brilliant I can't believe you have to contact an admin and waste his time over something as STUPID as this.

I don't think Cyp gives to craps about me breaking tall grass 3 months ago on a mod's island who was just demoted... The fact that I reported her alone gives her a motive to have me banned - Do you honestly think that she cared about her precious 'grass'? I don't care what it says about griefing, this ban has been dragged out way longer then necessary, and contacting the head admin who has much more important things to do is simply pathetic.

Here's my reading of the report you made:
You all were having good fun on NET, you were recording without dews knowledge, which in some courts of law makes evidence inadmissible.

Dew proceeded to do stuff that would normally get players banned, however they were done with your implicit permission. This is the crux of the issue. If you were truly in strife other mods are online. You never once called out for help or in any way expressed that you were serious about getting Dew to stop her actions. Which, inevitably led to her continuing, everyone laughing, and you twisting a fun harmless situation into one which you could use to your advantage.

Had you seriously told Dew to stop, I'd be surprised if she didn't.

However, as I've mentioned before, the bar for moderators is set higher than regular players, for the simple reason of the charter that moderators carry. As such, while her behaviour may not have been ideal or acceptable as a mod, it was certainly more than acceptable as a player.

 

I think you need to get your ears checked, listen to the audio in the video, buddy.

It was made extremely clear that I was recording, infact that was the topic of 1/2 the conversation.

This is an appeal, not a debate on how you viewed the report as. I'm sick of dealing with you, this is pathetic. Deny this and I'll be doing a report on you, ok? I'm done with dealing with this stupidity.

Do your job, don't bring your petty opinion into this especially when everything you said was completely wrong and off topic on a ban appeal. I'm not here to argue over a person who has already been demoted.

Also, if you'd bother READING what I WRITE and stop treating me like an idiot, then you'd of seen this, which was the answer:

Griefing:

Yes, I get it, Dewmellons pathetic tall grass was SOOO important to her. Omg much steal.
I still can't believe I'm banned for breaking not grass blocks but BONE MEALED GRASS.

You know this was a ban out of spite, right?

I wasn't aware that 3 months ago when Dew was mod and KNEW ABOUT THE LOGS that she could wait until I got her demoted to get me banned for breaking not grass blocks but TALL GRASS.

so yeah, I won't 'grief' again considering it's been 3 months since it happened. Hey, I'm already improving right?

I get all of that, but your attitude isn't helping. Throughout this appeal you've insulted staff, ex-staff, Admins etc, and acted as though you know that you'd be unbanned, and not taken the appeal process seriously. For someone to be let back on the server, we need to know that they won't be a threat to other players.

Fortunately for you I believe that this ban could have been handled earlier rather than waiting till now.

Be more careful next time regarding changing blocks on other islands, and make sure that you have proof (in the way of screenshots or written books) before making any changes outside the limit that you stated above.
