ive just uninstalled java and minecraft then downloaded, then restart my laptop still doesnt work

 

don't you need java to play mionecraft, but you have to have the right version

 

2 days ago i installed windows 8, and i had java 7, 1 day after i was playing then it told me i had to update my windows so i did it, then tried to play minecraft but didnt work so i got a solution now, as my dad and cousins are pros with compuer hes going to swap my windows 8 to windows xp he knows whats hes doing so ill leave this here thanks to everyone trying to help me see you tonight at the server hopefully (lock this please)
