What if this world isn't true reality?

For some reason I always I think that maybe the world isn't real. In a dream, a world is created - maybe this world is the dream of God or somebody who we have never heard of. Scientists say that the Sun could explode but maybe the Sun exploding would be this person waking up. That's just what I think

 

If this is dream of someone we don't know, then we are errors of The System.

 

Not so likely to explode. More likely to have large bursts of solar wind and coronal mass ejection.

Contrary to popular belief the sun doesn't "burn" like a furnace but rather is driven by fusion of quantum particles releasing copious amounts of energy.

As a side note my belief in God and Christ isn't one taken blindly but rather logically concluded from evidence in the scriptures as well as the natural world

 

It's predicted that at the end of the Suns life cycle, one of the theories is that it'll expands until it swallows the earth whole. But I personally don't believe the earth will even last that long.

where i come from my family always told me that when you die you go to a place called " Heaven " which is basically a place where you live after you die until your soul is chosen into a different body, then you become a whole new person, but you forgot that you ever lived that afterlife. it's like your brain was wiped and you don't know what happened.

 

If the world was perfect we would have no reason to complain about our depression to our friends on minecraft servers ;(

 

Most people were taught many different things and depictions of heaven. If it's truly the happiest after-life I like to think that you still do keep your earthly memories and relationships with others. If not then heaven sounds pretty lonely and depressing.

I Think

 

Just as the first dimension is in one plane of the second dimensions and the second dimensions merely one plane of the 3rd dimension. The third dimension is believed to be contained on one plane of the fourth dimension.

 

i think the same thing all the time... like how can anything exist... how is it possible how is possibility possible.
how does existence exist at all? even if you being the only conscious person how could that be.

who's to say there even is real real world...

 

Life itself is real, if it wasn't it would seem to be perfect, as if it was a vision or a dream we could manipulate it into whatever we wanted, but that's far from the case. Even then no computer could handle the strain of billions of others decisions and even if these people were all a figment of our imagination and the world is only composed of a few hundred the human brain does not have that amount of power needed to process and create all this. So really, the solar system and universe is real, but half the things we believe are not.

Jumping back a few hundred - a thousands years a man named Jesus died on the cross to do something about sins, he was the son of a figure named God, whom no one has ever seen, however he created a bible and passed it down telling people that he wanted the perfect world when he, personally ruined it. In the same setting theirs Satan, who is apparently more powerful than God but does nothing but take sinners souls, but wait.. didn't Jesus die for our sins, past and future? So why are people going to Hell still? Loopholes in the bible.

Life has next to no purpose, we're shoved here on a dying planet with greedy humans who think they're better than everyone else, something we only live once but we never live at all, because from the moment we're born we're a slave to ourselves and corporate greed. We segregate ourselves from nation to nationality and kill millions of people who don't agree with us, and yet this God figure sits back idly watching. But the moral of this is the fact life is life, it's not a vision or virtual-reality and when people die they die. They don't float up into the clouds or get pulled into the core of the earth, that's stupid to believe and preach. Every human is different, we all handle things differently, we're all different but we all have one thing in common, in the end we're going to die and we served no purpose in our time on this planet, that and all we did was destroy it. We stood by as people suffered and did nothing about it, simply put.. humans are selfish who deserve nothing in life, but we're at the top of the food chain ,so no matter what we're the kings of the planet, and that's the mentality a lot of us have.

I really hope something wipes humans of the planet, we were made from evolution, and evolution will destroy us eventually. Because we evolve, not just magically appear.

 

Evolution won't destroy us. Evolution helps creatures to adapt to different conditions, it helps everyone survive. Humanity will exist for thousands more, unless something terrible happens, like nuclear war or fall of immense asteroid on our planet.

 

Let's hope it never comes to option #1

1. God hasn't necessarily never been seen.
2. God himself didn't write the bible. He said things that people wrote down.
3. God didn't ruin the world, we did. That's what the Adam and Eve story is about.
4. Satan isn't more powerful than God. He's only an angel, and no, not every angel is good.
5. People don't go to Hell because of their sins. People who believe that Jesus died for our sins often believe that people go to Hell because they didn't believe in Jesus/ and or God.

The "loopholes" you found are just misconceptions or misunderstanding. ;P

I used to think like that too. My friends started to make me go to church and stuff and I've found that life is much more enjoyable when you do have a religion you believe in.

 

Christianity is divided into two main branches: Catholicism and Orthodoxy. Catholics believe that if they don't believe in God or/and Jesus, they will go to hell. In Orthodoxy people believe that they will go to Hell if they become sinners during their lifes.
