Kit for 'Green Beans' (Regular Players)

We have at least 100 players on at a time?

5 of those players leave because of a sapling not dropping.

We have over a million unique users to my knowledge.

1,000,000 * .05?

That's 50,000 players without saplings.


Ergo, we need a sapling kit or similar.

 

Well it may encourage them to grief and scam to get saplings. So basically, yeah. I agree with you.

 

I like the saplings, when my friend and I started skyblock, it took us like ten tries to get the sapling from the tree

 

Well, having a /kit sapling on a 24hr cooldown or so isn't going to suddenly flood the economy with saplings.

 

Support your idea. Some times I can't find meat as well. But I sold my 6 spawners so my problem

 

When I was a non-donor I would have really appreciated the ability to be lazy and just get items with no work at all. However, I think the only thing that would benefit non-donors (especially new folks) is bringing back /kit sapling. Mind you I had a DC of oak saplings at one point in time that I just gave way, but sometimes it is just easier to answer a new person's cry for help with "type /kit sapling"

As a green bean I can attest to the fact that /warp mob and /warp animals aren't obvious at first. I immediately took to renewable food (ala melon) as soon as possible and didn't realize about the animals until about a week later.

This may be an issue of getting started. Maybe when somebody first signs up their daily drop includes some kind of note about /warp animals and then /warp mob?

 

Or another idea. /warp start that is an area for getting started including signs about how to get food, how to build a cobble generator and an area for experienced players to train a green bean without having to resort to coop invite to demonstrate building one?

We already have several areas like including /warp noobspawn and FAQ. They just need to be updated.

 

And maybe streamlined so as not to be overwhelming?

For example noobspawn directs a new player to the faq which then leads to the others but in a systematic way?

Support, I like the idea. Of GB Kit. Saplings are good for people who lost theirs, sounds good. I know my opinion doesn't always matter quite as much as a mod's but I would support your idea.

 

66% support i think we should have a greenbean kit but it should include 1 oak sapling and 10 cooked steak

 

Noobcrew this would get new players a reason to get back on every 3-4 days

 

Some support. Only add in kit sapling. They shouldn't get the things they need by doing nothing because they are lazy.
