I broke one of the biggest rules of applying which was to ask Cyp for mod. I don't think I'm getting accepted anytime soon after that.

 

What I observed is that when people apply for mod, players look out for them. The player applying for mod is in chat a lot trying to help others. They get seen, they get known, they make friends, they get more and more "popular". Most likely had friends before hand too. Its usually how it comes together.

 

My chin is up. Done.

 

Those who gave up obviously didn't want it enough. The ones who don't give up or lose hope prove that they really deserve it.

i'll never give up!!! Two apps in... both rejected, but I'm not crying about it.. Thanks for this though. Many people need it...

Even if you haven't been picked yet doesn't mean you were rejected. XD Just passed over, for now. You can always edit your app as you grow and change and when there comes a time that Cyp thinks you're ready, it'll happen.

Passed over probs gives you a better feeling than rejected too.

What a lot of people forget when someone else is picked over you, you get a front row seat in watching how they handle it, so you can apply that better yourself. Remember that Cypriot can see chat logs, so if you're not actively helping he can see that, a lot of backtracking goes into hunting for mods.

 

I remember when a current mod (Not saying who) got accepted, I was like "O_O I wonder what they did differently then me" >.> Not going to lie looking and seeing how they modding along with other mods helped me to know how to act and do things.

 

I couldn't agree more with the crushing feeling xD
